Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Your privacy matters. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your files and what limited information we handle when you use Quick PDF Editor (quickpdfeditor.com).

The short version: We do not require an account, we do not run ads, and we do not keep a database of your documents. Most editing happens in your browser. When a file does need server-side processing, it is sent over HTTPS, processed temporarily, and is not intentionally retained afterwards.

1. Who we are

Quick PDF Editor is a free, browser-based tool for editing PDF files. In this policy, "we", "us", and "the service" refer to Quick PDF Editor. If you have any questions, contact us at support@quickpdfeditor.com.

2. Your documents

When you open a PDF, it is loaded into your browser so you can edit it. Many edits — such as adding text, drawing or placing a signature, stamping, and reordering pages — are performed locally on your device.

Some operations require higher-fidelity rendering than the browser can do alone. For those, the file (or the relevant part of it) is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our processing service, which uses it only to generate your edited PDF and return it to you.

Because files are not retained, we cannot recover a document for you after your session ends. Please keep your own copy of anything important.

3. Accounts

There are no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, or any sign-up information to use the editor. You only share an email address if you choose to contact us directly.

4. Information handled automatically

Like virtually all websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process basic technical information needed to deliver the service securely and reliably — for example, IP address, browser type, and request timestamps in standard server logs, and limited error diagnostics used to keep the service working. This information is used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability, not to identify you personally or to track you across the web.

5. Cookies and tracking

The editor does not require cookies to function, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser may keep things like your last-used settings locally on your device for convenience; this data stays in your browser.

6. Third-party services

We rely on reputable infrastructure providers to host the website and run the processing service. These providers process data only to operate the service on our behalf and are bound by their own security and privacy obligations.

7. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and the service is encrypted in transit. While no method of transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle.

8. Children's privacy

Quick PDF Editor is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your choices

Because we do not maintain accounts or a database of your documents, there is no stored profile to access or delete. If you have a privacy question or request, email support@quickpdfeditor.com and we will do our best to help.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here.
